At Victoria International Marina, we plan to create a space dedicated to disrupting social norms and inviting guests to explore who they are, how they think, and who they want to become. We would only hope to help you meet more of your best friends and collaborators. This will be a third space dedicated to saunas, events and unique gatherings... as we go through rezoning; check out how to be involved in a private community while this vision unfolds.
What Exists Right Now
The Present Moment
January 2026 [The Beginning]
Right now, Westcoast Bathhouse lives as a sauna showroom parked out front of Victoria International Marina at 1 Cooperage Place.
This sauna is not the end vision.
This is phase one.
We chose to begin growing our community before full rezoning and permitting are complete, so the space can evolve with the people it’s meant for, not behind closed doors.
What you see today is the seed! With a plan to unlock the rest of the venue into a community hub.

Our amenities will include bathhouse and spa experiences, outdoor adventures, and playful group activities like laser tag and mantrackers, alongside truly epic dance parties that reframe what a “club” can be, less about consumption, more about real movement, expression, and presence. We’re deeply rooted in the belief that change is always within our hands, no matter how big or small.
Our vision is to transform 1 Cooperage Place into a living, breathing community health club; a place you can return to again and again.
This won’t be a hub where you pay to sit silently in a designated spot or drink to disconnect. It’s a social experiment, and its meaning depends on the effort and responsibility of everyone who participates. Our aim is to instill healthy values without over-spiritualizing or religiousizing the experience to create a space where, when you show up, you know you can lean into a stranger for support, inspiration, or connection.

in a country where quick fixes are easier to come by than places for true, long-term health, we’re on a mission to shift the balance. wellness should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it. help bring public saunas to our coastlines and make preventive care a reality for all canadians.
why are drugs easier to access than affordable wellness?
while prescriptions and quick-fix medications are everywhere, affordable spaces for preventive wellness places that truly heal; are scarce. in victoria, bc, and across canada, we face an alarming gap in public wellness infrastructure. how can we promote preventive healthcare if the spaces to do so are out of reach?
we believe that saunas on our coastlines and beaches offer the perfect opportunity to fill this gap. public, affordable saunas will provide spaces for preventive health, mental wellness, and community connection. these saunas aren’t just a luxury. they are essential for promoting holistic health in everyday life.
